My years of experience in the Center for Metagenomic and Microbiome Research at Baylor College of Medicine and in the laboratory of microbiome pioneer Dr. Rob Knight at UC San Diego have exposed me to a range of sample types, including troublesome samples and solutions, health and disease areas associated with the microbiome, and state of the art tools for analyzing microbiome data.
